Hold up Sunday, I ain't ready to go back to work!

I love a lazy Sunday, no work to mess with, just chilling with my Mr and the kitten.  Today is a lovely day in Nashville TN.  The weather promises to be bright and sunshiny and just freaking lovely!

Yesterday I worked on these cards.  At first these were going to be Marie Antionette xmas cards.  But, I just couldn't get motivated to make them xmas cards.  Instead I just let the ladies dance across the cards.  I am getting smarter on mass producing cards: making several of the same at one time.

Doesn't this Marie look nice.  I was a bit worried about the simplicity, but just couldn't bring myself to add more to the cards.

The Mr felt like this Marie's hair was weird, but what would I do with it?  What would you do with her head?  I'm up for solutions.  Otherwise...I'm leaving it.

Sookie said, "No more work!!" And starting lying right in the middle of everything!

This canvas will eventually turn out as a collaged piece.  But, I have been stuck--
Until...I ran across this blog yesterday  paperlicious delicious. Lesley has inspired me to work on this a bit more! Thanks Lesley!

Hey now, We've got to make it rain somehow....

Happy Thursday friends! Welcome to what song is in your head Thursday.  You've heard it before, but I'll say it again...everyday I wake up with a song in my head and the fun part of waking up is hearing which song is making its way from my subconscious to my lips.  Today I dream of a red hot chili pepper with sugar on top.

Not this kinda Red Hot Chili Pepper, but this kind:

Did that wake your tastebuds up this morning!!  Hot, hot, hot.  And although I like my food pretty wimpy when it comes to spices, these red hot chili peppers can come sit in a jar on my kitchen table anytime.  (tee hee, hope the MR. doesn't read this posting--hahahahhaahha)

Anyways, these guys have this cool video out thats topping the charts.  The song I am singing this morning is: "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie."  I can't understand a word they sing except for the chorus.......

Hey now
We've got to make it rain somehow
She told me to
And showed me what to do
Our Maggie makes it in a cloud

When the lead singer starts dancing without his shirt I feel like a teenager again!~  Enjoy!

Remember to stop by this giveaway to win the freaking most adorable magnets on the planet.

Getcha some,
Puddin n Pie

What the HECK is this!?
AND why would anyone buy this?

I thought this was a whole lot of joy not to share.  These will morph into magnets when all is said and done.  Each piece is a 2" x 2" memory glass, colored with alcohol ink and then stamped with a alpha stamp.  I had planned on selling these letters individually so customers could build their own words.  But, I don't think that's gonna happend this time around.

I have so much fun making these..I hope folks will like them just as much!

Gimme two cents, gimme two cents more.....

Everyone has an opinion and I'm asking for yours.

Please tell me what you think of these magnets.  They are still works in progress that I hope to sell at a couple of fairs this holiday season  They are 4 x 6 magnets, I'll have different sayings in them including quotes that are:  funny, inspirational, and some religious.

Honestly...what would you do differently.

I used alcohol inks to color the clear front, then slide the quotation inside the pocket front.  From there I stamped an image, added some stickles and embellishments.

I think I need a little something else in the right corner of this one.
I was thinking about putting a ribbon around the edges of this one. The tree and the birds have glossy accents on them.

Gimme your two cents.
