Darn if Monday hasn't come around again!  I still believe our work week should start on Tuesday, instead of Mondays.  Then take Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off.  Whaddya think?

It's getting kind of chilly around TN these days.  I guess I'll need to break out the hand muff and matching hat.  Poor little sister, Nancy, didn't get a muff to wear with her hat! Today she still wishes for a muff.  Maybe I should find one for her!?  Would that be fun if I could find a vintage muff on ebay! I guess I have a project now!  Good thing my little sister doesn't follow this blog--otherwise she might know what her xmas gift is!

Wacky Doodle Wednesday! (and a Giveaway)

Welcome to Wacky doo Wednesday.  A pause in our busy week to laugh and enjoy life.  Here's a little bit of Halloween layover from my twinny!  She's silly that way! 

Remember yesterday I promised a picture of the winner's gift from last week and here it is.  I'm not going to apologize for the not so good quality picture...because...well....as you can see, it's just fuzzy and there ain't a thing to do about it while I'm sitting in my office.  (don't tell my boss I'm blogging while on the clock)

The little banner says "let your light shine" and it's a magnet.  I just loved the way these turned out!

Terrific Tuesday Giveaway!

Congratulation to Fuchsia from Fuchsia Crafty Notions Blog for winning this lovely magnet!  Stop by her blog and check out her bat out of hell creation.  Pretty outstanding, and I LOVE that she didn't have enough L's to spell HELL. Doesn't that always happen? 

So, Fuchsia has won a beautiful blue and silver magnet.  (I forgot to download the final picture--whoopsy!)


It started out as a drink coaster from a local bar....see

Then I painted with some blue acrylic paint.

Added some embossing with the ever so charming chandelier.  A quaint saying(ya'll can't see it because I forgot to download the final project.  Watch for a picture on tomorrow's post!)
